of hopefuls on BBC2's Dragons' Den? Now
is your chance.

Duncan Bannatyne, self-made, serial entrepreneur, is offering one lucky reader
or team the chance to pitch him face to face with that killer business idea.
Duncan Bannatyne has built a substantial business empire, worth in excess of
£130 million, starting from nothing. He didn't go to business school, he didn't
inherit any wealth, he just got on and did it. His business interests have
encompassed ice-cream vending, nursing homes, nurseries, fitness clubs, casinos
and gaming and - soon - residential property.
His commercial nous has been proven over and over and he has a famously direct
style that any entrepreneur can benefit from.
For your chance to win, attach a document (below), containing an outline of your
business idea in no more than 500 words, and a three year summary financial
projection. Include the basic concept, why you believe it has commercial legs,
some background about the key team players, contact details, and why you want
investment. All submissions are treated in the strictest confidence. Click here to view our Confidentiality Letter
The Sharp Edge will be following the progress of our winners in future issues:
if you don't want to miss out, why not take out a subscription

delivered to your door.

Winner of the Launch Issue competition
was RM Locking
(www.lockingsystem.com) whose founder, Martin Cane, met Duncan Bannatyne on 7
February 2006. RM Locking has patented its “Zapper Lock Converter” – a key fob
operated electric strike.
This enables any lock or combination of locks to be opened and closed at the
touch of a button in a similar way to the millions of car doors locked and
unlocked by remote control. Congratulations Martin. |
